I want to be an intern at Wolfplex.

You're welcome! Four possibilites:

1. Your own project. Describe it on the wiki and send a mail to the mailing list.
2. A project listed here. Contact the project mentor.
3. You don't have your own projet, don't see something interesting on the list but still want to be intern in an hackerspace. Send a mail to the mailing list, we'll see something to define a project together. If you want to send your CV, and want to avoid to spread it too widely, some people use participatewolfplex.org instead of contacting the list.
4. You participate to an internship organized by another entity, for example under the GSoC or OPW banner, and need a space to work. You're welcome to use our space.

Quatre types de stage sont possible :

1. Vous disposez de votre propre projet et souhaitez le concrétiser dans le cadre d'un stage ; créez une page sur le wiki expliquant le projet et donnez le lien vers cette page sur la mailing list.
2. Vous choisissez un projet dans cette liste et l'accomplissez dans le cadre d'un stage ; contactez la personne proposant le sujet.
3. Vous souhaitez mettre vos compétences à dispositions de l'espace afin d'effectuer un stage dans le cadre des études, mais n'avez pas de projet précis à proposer et ne voyez pas dans la liste quelque chose qui vous correspond, nous définissons alors un projet ensemble ;
4. Vous effectuez un stage pour une autre entité (par exemple dans le cadre d'un programme comme Google Summer of Code ou l'Outreach Program for Women) ; vous pouvez utiliser Wolfplex comme lieu de travail durant ce stage.

TrustSpace — RFC 3647 certification practice

TrustSpace is a project to create a certificate authority, ie an organization to issue and manage SSL certificates, the certificates use for example to use the HTTPS protocol.

This is ideal if you need an internship with a security theme in system administration or project management and are interested by SSL certificates, certificate authority.

We offer you to document and help to implement a solid administrative framework for a certificate authority. So you analyze or define something, and document it.

A RFC 3647 document is clearly something very nice to have in a CV or portfolio to prove writing skills, especially if you wish to work in ISO 9001.

• The ideas to improve the administrative framework

Language

This internship is in English (I mean, if your native tongue is French, we can of course speak French if you wish, but the documents you'll read, the documents you'll write, the work you'll analyze, all is in English).

You aren't expected to have a very good level in literary English. The goal is to produce a clear technical text, and generally a clear text is written with a very simple grammar structure. And, yes, you're welcome to use this internship opportunity to improve your English skills.

Development

Wikimedia Commons

To improve Wikimedia Commons, Dereckson is willing to provide a development internship and mentor the two following projects.

• Allow smoother and easier Wikimedia Commons pictures discovery (design, UI, ergonomy, usability)
• Build an interwiki notifications framework and implement it for InstantCommons (API development)

Communication

Développement du projet de communication externe de Wolfplex Hackerspace

Les tâches du stagiaire peuvent être de :

• développer une communication pour expliquer notre projet, ce qu'est un hackerspace, ce qu'est un laboratoire ouvert ;
• améliorer la plaquette de présentation ;
• identifier les groupes de personnes susceptibles d'être intéressées par ce projet en Wallonie ;
• préparer des événements de présentation du projet qui auront lieu cet automne ;
• identifier des partenaires éventuels.

Le contenu du stage pourra être personalisé en fonction des attentes du stagiaire lors de l'entretien initial. Nous mettons un fort accent sur le caractère formatif et souhaitons que ce stage soit réellement une expérience enrichissante pour le stagiaire. Minimum 6 semaines.

• Documents produits durant le stage (brochure, blocs de texte à insérer dans des descriptions d'événements, affiches, etc.) ;
